It is important for you, our clients, to realize that your computer (hard drive), software, C.D.’s, floppy disks among other items may contain personal and sensitive information.
We at RES wish to inform you that any information of this nature may be retrieved by others if it is not removed from your electronics. It is the responsibility of you as the generator of these waste products to safeguard your personal or sensitive information by removing it from your electronics prior to recycling at our facilities if others viewing this information would be of concern to you.
There are several methods of removing this type of information prior to recycling and we suggest you contact your MIS/IT department or a local professional for this service if this is a concern.
